What to Wear to GNR in India: Bengaluru & Guwahati 2026

Guns N' Roses are back in India.
Two cities. Two nights. One question: what are you wearing?

• Bengaluru: Saturday, 14 November, NICE Grounds. Girish and The Chronicles open.
• Guwahati: Tuesday, 17 November, Khanapara Veterinary Ground. Parikrama open. It's GNR's first ever show in Northeast India.

History doesn't happen in a plain white tee. Here's your fit guide.

Rule #1: The Band Tee Is Non-Negotiable

This is a GNR show. The tee is the uniform.

Go official. Thirty years from now you'll want the tee that actually belongs to the band, not a bootleg that cracked after two washes.

• For the classicist: the 1985 Black Oversized Tee. Where it all started.
• For the tour-history nerd: LA-85, UK-87 or Japan 88.
• For the minimalist: the Cross Logo. Instantly recognisable from the back of the crowd.
• For the ones who were there in May '25: the Mumbai '25 Tour Collection. Wear the last show to the next one.

Rule #2: Pick Your Fit

• Oversized: 240 GSM French Terry with drop shoulders. Heavy, boxy, made for the pit.
• Relaxed: 210 GSM cotton. Roomy without swallowing you. Easy to layer.

Rule #3: Dress for the City

Bengaluru evenings in November are pleasant but can turn breezy after sunset. A tee plus a light flannel or overshirt tied at the waist does the job.

Guwahati runs cooler at night this time of year. Layer up. An open overshirt or a hoodie over your tee keeps you warm through the encore, and comes off the moment "Paradise City" kicks in.

Rule #4: The Rest of the Fit

• Bottoms: black denim or cargos. You'll be standing, jumping and getting stepped on.
• Shoes: closed and broken in. Open grounds and crowds are no place for new kicks or sandals.
• Headwear: a cap if you're arriving early for the openers.
• Carry: keep it light. Check the organiser's entry rules before you go.
